Mrs. Bertha L. Lewis (affectionately known as Sugar Mama) age 60 of Chipley, FL passed away Saturday, September 28th at the Northwest Florida Community Hospital, Chipley, FL
Sister Bertha Lewis was born on January 4, 1959 in Campbellton, FL. She was the oldest of eight children born to the late Willie E. Robinson Sr. and Mary L. Martin-Robinson.
She was converted at an early age and joined Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Church in Marianna, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends and especially her grandchildren and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Reverend Louie P. Lewis, Jr., her siblings; Shirley Anne Baker and Bruce B. Baker.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Nine loving children: Danny Curry (Pamela) of Marianna, FL, Jacqueline Crawford (Jason) of Crestview, FL, Shelanda Hardrick (Elijah), Christopher Hardrick, Phillip Hardrick, Samantha Watford (Earl) and Paul Hardrick (Rosalinda) all of Chipley, FL, Roy Hardrick, Jr. of Dothan, AL, LaEdward Hardrick (Christina) of Chipley, FL; her beloved step- children: Nicole Lewis, Minister Patrick R. Lewis, both of Chipley, FL, Tyrone Lewis (Faye) of Brandenburg, KY, and Shanae Boston of Chipley, FL; her mother: Mary L. Martin-Robinson of Chipley, FL; nine siblings: James E. Robinson (Michelle), Willie E. Robinson, Jr. (Dot) and Amos E. Robinson, all of Tampa, FL, Winifred Robinson of Graceville, FL, Thomas Baker (Julie), Labron Marshall and Felicia Prather, all of Tampa, FL; sixty (plus) grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many sorrowful friends.
