Condolence & Memory Journal

I have known Craig, for around 23 years. From the first time that I met him, he has always treated me with true kindness and care. When he became the father of my grandson Tyreke, it was very evident, that he sincerely loved his son, as much as he loved his family. Being the grandmother, that is and was important to me. He recognized the love I had for his son too, and called me mom most of the time. I took that as an honor, knowing he cared about me and how I was doing. He never left without telling me, he loved me and if he could do anything for me, to let him know. That was his way. He had so many fine qualities. He was kind, sincere, honest and took pride in his family and work. I will miss him and his hugs, that he gave freely. To his fiancee, children, family and friends, I know you will all miss him. Take comfort in knowing, that Craig had a love for each of you that was boundless. Also take comfort in knowing, that Craig had a heart for Jesus and he today is basking in His warmth and love. Craig touched many lives with his love, friendship and witness, and he is being rewarded for that. I consider my life as being blessed, to have had him in it.

To the Laster family,
When peace like a river attendeth your way, When sorrows like sea billows roll, Whatever your lot,Thou hast taught you to say, It Is Well With Your Soul.
May God give you the peace that surpasses all understanding and comfort that only He can give.
